Probably because you said what I was thinking anyways ( I think) But, yeah. The bidding should only be between the people that saw the item and placed a bid on it while it was visible. Once the preset time limit for that item being visible pa**es then whomever has the highest bid wins.

I know there'll be people who try to do weird bots to grab the items they want the moment that they appear. That's why I'm going to make it a CAPTCHA button, so they have to be there. You can't be there 24/7, so that should solve the issue for the most part.
It depends how often the page refreshes, I suppose. I was thinking 5-10 minutes. It could just be totally random, but then we'd have people slamming the page constantly. That's the sort of thing that could be changed at any time though, so whatever I decide for the initial release isn't going to be stuck with us.

Basically it would be setup sorta like the armoury and where the price is it could say current bid.
So it would look sorta like this above.
Then when you click on the item you would see this page.
