| Summary | 0000133: Add support for Weapon Specialisation | ||||||||||
| Description | Items have been split into categories, with weapons being further subdivided into classes. This means that it is viable for a player to gain/lose experience in a particular 'class' of item, improving the effectiveness of the items in question, when equipped. In summary, if a player attacks constantly with Rifle weapons, or Low Tech/Melee weapons, using those sorts of items will give them a % bonus of the effects of the item. Over time, experience is lost of it isn't constantly topped up via attacking. This makes it wise to pick a small number of weapon classes and specialise in them! Sounds interesting! | ||||||||||
